Construction Details

pME-nlsmCherry was made by PCR amplification of an nls-mCherry (mCherry with nuclear-localization signal) cassette, using primers that add att sites, followed by a BP reaction.

Sequencing finds a single PCR error in the insert, encoding an H30R mutation in mCherry. However, expression constructs made with this cassette show appropriate function (nuclear-localized fluorescence).
